bad breath baby

Most babies have sweet smelling breath, but sometimes the baby's breathing bad happens. It may be a particular problem on waking, after the baby is asleep a few hours – as the breath of the morning in adults. During sleep, the mouth may be relaxed and still, there is decreased the production of saliva and bacteria living in the oral cavity have the opportunity to multiply unmolested. Some of these bacteria can produce the unpleasant odor we associate with bad breath, and when they multiply to sufficient numbers, the odor becomes noticeable.
If you think "morning breath" is causing the bad breath in baby, try cleaning treatment through the mouth before putting naps. If the baby is very small and has no teeth, encourage water rinse to remove any formula or food debris from cracks and crevices. If your baby has teeth, a soft brush and rinse should help. Washing and brushing on waking can be useful too. (Fluoridated toothpaste should be used sparingly in young children, and always brushing should be supervised, even when the child old enough to begin to brush himself.) If these measures, the poor baby's breath, you need not do more.
However, if bad breath persists in the baby after brushing and can not be another problem. Does baby use a pacifier or habitually suck on some other object as a blanket or a stuffed toy? An object that is permanently in the mouth is covered with saliva and oral bacteria and can develop an unpleasant odor. Although the odor can not be offensive to your child, can contribute to persistent odors in the vicinity of the baby and the baby bad breath. The simplest solution is to wash or replace the product offender regularly. Finally, your child quit sucking and the problem will disappear by itself.
Sometimes bad breath on the baby has cause more sinister. If attempts to resolve the problem are unsuccessful, you should consult your pediatrician or family doctor. The doctor signs of strep throat or sinusitis, infection somewhere in the mouth, dental caries, or a foreign object lodged in a nasal passage. The sinus congestion can contribute to the baby bad breath as well, causing the baby to breathe through the mouth: dry mouth is a cause of bad breath in both children and adults, because saliva is naturally antibacterial and in a healthy mouth that keeps the population of bacteria that cause odor to a minimum.
Again breath, bad baby is relatively little common: if simple measures do not solve the problem, your child should be seen by a medical professional to rule out more serious problems.
