Can a dog parvovirus causes bad breath?
My dog was diagnosed with parvovirus yesterday and put in tons of medicine. Today it seems be feeling much better and finally eating again. But I've noticed that your breath smells like a coward, not the normal bad breath in a dog, it smells almost sick. I wonder if this is normal or is a sign of something like kidney failure or something of that nature. Again he hasn't eaten in 2 days, which just started today and was vomiting for 2 days until yesterday morning that was the last time throwing up. So is it normal for your breath to smell basically "sick"?
Yes it is. was and still is a very sick puppy. She will not have a minty fresh breath for quite some time. Just keep up the great work and get your better ok. Good luck!
